Famous Respected Author of “Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus” dies after a yearlong battle with cancer. He was 34.

Nabeel Qureshi M.Phil (Oxford), was born in California to Pakistani immigrants and raised a devout Muslim, he grew up studying Islamic apologetics. After he engaged a Christian in a faith discussion, the two became friends and examined the historical claims of Christianity and Islam.

Qureshi shared his journey to faith in his first book, Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus, a New York Times best-seller. It became the only book ever to win Christian Book Awards for both Best New Author and Best Nonfiction. Prior to his cancer, Nabeel was affiliated with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM) And travelled worldwide. On the day his third book, “No God But One”, released, Aug. 30, 2016, he announced his diagnosis of advanced stomach cancer. Nabeel Qureshi died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017.

Qureshi earned a bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University with an emphasis in interpersonal communication and a minor in biology, an M.D. from Eastern Virginia Medical School, an M.A. in Christian apologetics from Biola University, an M.A. in religion from Duke University, and an M.Phil. in Judaism and Christianity from the University of Oxford. Qureshi was unable to finish his D.Phil. in New Testament studies at the University of Oxford due to his battle with stomach cancer.
